Reason for hope

gyps

This is the first painting of - "birds of prey". The bearded vulture, Gypaetus barbatus, is in my opinion one of the most fascinating birds and it´s not only because of it´s size. It's in A3 format and called:" Reason of hope" because the resettlement of this species in the alps was and is still fraught with ups and downs. The bird depicted on this painting lives in the Eulen- und Greifvogelstation Haringsee. The offspring of this bird is used for a resettling project in Europe. Thanks for the great work to EGS!! The reference photo was taken by Jo Kurz. - SOLD!
